Most of my clients know me as their financial advisor—but not everyone knows how I got here. It wasn’t a traditional path, and honestly, that’s what makes it meaningful to me.
I grew up in rural Montana, working in my family’s cable television business. I didn’t set out to become a financial advisor. In fact, it was a scene from Pretty Woman—yes, really—that first sparked my interest in business and finance. That moment planted a seed: I wanted to understand how money works, how businesses grow, and how people build financial freedom.
From there, I started taking steps. I earned my licenses, gained experience, and kept growing. Eventually, I made the move to Pittsburgh and built a practice focused on helping people—especially women—create financial clarity and confidence.
I recently had the chance to share more about that journey in an article titled:
👉 Melanie Colusci: Reaching the Summit as a Woman in Finance
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that success rarely follows a straight line. But with adaptability, resilience, and the right support, great things can happen.
Thanks for being part of the journey.
