Bob's goal is to make a difference in the lives he touches, by enabling clients who need and want his help to protect themselves and their loved ones. Bob's unique ability is analyzing his client's complex and confusing circumstances, finding the best solution for that client, and communicating the results in ways his clients can both understand and act upon.
Bob accomplishes that for his clients by drawing on over 35 years of experience, first as a certified public accountant in public accounting and in industry, and since 1989, additionally as a financial services professional. Bob joined the Bridger Financial Group team in 2017.
In his role as a financial advisor, Bob works with successful individuals and businesses. For businesses, he designs and implements retirement plans (from simple IRA's to 401k's to "nonqualified" plans), business succession plans and selective benefits. For individuals, Bob has, for a number of years, acted as an "advanced case specialist," assisting colleagues and their clients with complex planning. In particular, Bob has specialized training and extensive experience working with special needs individuals and their families.
Bob currently serves as the Board Secretary and is a founding board member of TC House, Inc., a 501(c)(3) created to build a home for young adults with Down Syndrome, providing them the opportunity to live as independently as possible. He also serves as a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Board of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh.
Bob graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1975, then earned his MBA from Duquesne University in 1982. Bob lives in the West Hills with his wife Mary Ellen: their three adult children are enjoying successful careers of their own in Boston, Dayton and New York.
